Children with Special Needs

Although spectrums of Learning Disorders, Autism, Asperger and ADHD are considered disabilities, perhaps we can view them in a new light and start to consider them as gifts and divine purpose.

We are all spiritual beings here on earth with a unique and special purpose. Our children are born with the gifts and talents to remind us of that purpose. All children are gifted with immeasurable potential to heal our world, perhaps better entrusted are children with spectrums of Autism and ADHD, many of these children are also considered to be Star Children. They hold the wisdom and awareness of the consciousness shift that is presently taking place. They hold a sacred space for our evolution. Each spectrum is described as a very distinct condition with a long list of symptoms.

I believe that all children are unique individuals with their own special purpose and they experience a combination of multitude gifts and challenges, which labels can at times be limiting and not supportive of their journey. They are Special not disabled.

These special children vibrate with a different frequency due to their direct connection to Spirit. These sensitive and gentle beings perceive our seen and unseen world at the deepest levels. They are angels on earth radiating divine light naturally with a supernatural intensity to inspire us to find our higher selves.

They have a deep appreciation for beauty and nature with a genuine connection with animals and all living creatures. They are highly sensitive to our environment and can sense the world of energy. With an unspoken understanding they sense the feelings of people and are extremely empathetic and caring beings.

Many challenges are experienced by these beautiful souls. They struggle with academics, constant sense of failure, low self esteem, rejection, lack of supportive relationships, anxiety and depression, only to name a few. They learned at a very young age that they are different and their disabilities separates them form the rest. Unfortunately some grow up desensitizing their pain through drugs and alcohol and sadly some attempt to end their own existence on this earth.

As parents, teachers, caregivers, it is not only our responsibility as human beings, but our privilege and honor to assist these beautiful souls. We must recognize their spiritual intelligence and unlimited possibilities so we can support their journey. Once we look beyond our limited minds we can start to see from the depths of our hearts, only then can we truly see their divine purpose.

We all are divine beings with extraordinary abilities to demonstrate compassion, sensitivity, patience and unconditional love to all who have chosen to come into our lives. This is our divine purpose.

Children with Special Needs and the benefits of Energy Medicine

There are many wonderful resources to help our children with special needs through academics and social skills. It is also essential for children to heal at the emotional and spiritual level. Energy Medicine is a gentle yet powerful method of healing, and is a beautiful compliment to traditional resources. It can alleviate children's symptoms of anxiety and depression. By healing their souls they gain the strength needed to cope with their disabilities and everyday challenges. Increasing their self-worth gives them wings to fly and so they can reach their full potential.

Ever since my son was a toddler I have been aware of his differences and challenges, eventually he was diagnosed with ADHD. Although it is very difficult at times, I always focus on his strengths and potential. As his gifts are revealed his divine purpose becomes clear. I am grateful for the understanding and acceptance of God's divine plan for my son, and the blessings in the journey that my whole family has been gifted.

As a mother of a special needs child and an Energy Medicine Practitioner, my deepest desire is to assist children with special needs and their families through this very challenging yet most beautiful and transformational journey of their lives.
